College Colors Day was established in 2005 by the National College Colors Day Association as a nationwide celebration of higher education. The observance encourages students, alumni, educators, and fans to wear their college colors while promoting access to education and lifelong learning. Held each year on the Friday before Labor Day, it marks the beginning of a new academic year and the excitement of college traditions.
