A Day in the Life of a STEM Professional

All of which: no! In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the daily routines, tools, successes (and yes, challenges) of STEM professionals across all industries. We dive directly into career spotlights, anecdotes from STEM professionals, and Q&A sessions. Attendees will gain firsthand insight into the many pathways that STEM careers can offer.
STEM Jobs You’ve Never Heard Of
Formal education pathways leave a ton to be desired in STEM careers. They make it seem like the only STEM careers that are available are those traditional: doctor, scientist, or engineer. This workshop reintroduces the concept of what non-traditional STEM careers could look like. Introducing participates to exciting and often overlooked careers that power industries behind the scenes, from bioinformatics and robotics technicians to healthcare data analysts. Attendees will learn about required skills and education pathways, and uncover career opportunities they may have never considered.
