What is World Day of Social Justice?
World Day of Social Justice is an observance focused on bringing awareness to social justice issues via discussing poverty, unemployment, economic exclusion, and more.
Who created/started this observance?
The United Nationals General Assembly began the observance, approved on November 26th in 2007, and formally observed for the first time in 2009.
What is social justice?
Social justice is defined as “justice in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society” by the Oxford dictionary.
