Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan, follows humanity’s search for a new planet to inhabit as Earth’s end nears. A team is tasked to find this new home, via wormhole travel, and chaos ensues.
I’ll be honest; this movie isn’t really my cup of tea. Of course, that doesn’t diminish success and universal acclaim for it. I’m simply not a huge fan of Nolan’s directing style in general. Despite this, I greatly enjoyed the performances, which along with the cinematography, were stand-out elements for me. Everything else I unfortunately struggled to get invested in. I really do attribute most of this to his directing style, though.
If you enjoy Nolan’s other films or are a fan of Sci-Fi in general, you will probably find something enjoyable about this movie! I do think it’s excellent for discussions and theoraticals within the scientific community.
